322 The director is certified by a national professional chaplaincy organization and has a graduate theological degree of four units of clinical pastoral education (CPE).	HR.1 The hospital’s leaders define the qualifications and perfoemance expectataions for all staff positions. LD.2.11 Departments that are not medical staff services that provide patient care are directed by one or more qualified professionals. LD.2.11.2 A qualified professional with appropriate clinical training and experience is responsible for the clinical direction of patient care. HR.2 The hospital provides an adequate number of staff members whose qualifications are consistent with job responsibilities. RI.1.3 The hospital demonstrates respect for the following patient needs: RI.1.3.5 pastoral care and other spiritual services.
